Professor King is a Winthrop Professor in the Oral Health Centre, University of Western Australia, Perth, Australia, and holds BDS and MSc degrees with honors from the University of London. His PhD was awarded by The University of Hong Kong for work on developmental defects of enamel. He is a Member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and has examined for the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Australasia, the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the University of Kuwait and the University of Malaya. Professor King has published over 200 scientific papers and 16 chapters in dental text books.
Prof. Graham J Roberts BDS, MDS (Lond), FDSRCS (Eng), MPhil, DipFHID, ILTM, PhD
Professor Roberts is a Honorary Professor in the King’s College Dental Institute, University of London, United Kingdom. He is a founder member of Dental Age Research London Information Group (DARLInG), and their team has recorded dental development of around 15000 subjects belonging to different ethnic backgrounds, proving it to be the world’s first and most comprehensive reference dataset for age assessments. Prof Graham has authored more than 250 scientific articles in peer reviewed journals and published various text books in Paediatric Dentistry. His main areas of research are odontogenic bacteraemia, assessment of tooth development and dental management in paediatric chronic disorders.

Dr. Richard is an architectural engineer and climate change expert. He is in the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The Conference of the Parties is the supreme body of the Convention which is the highest decision-making authority. He has contributed to the formulation of conventions in the United Nations with the most recent being Ad Hoc Working Group on Further Commitments for Annex I Parties at Kyoto Protocol and United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Bonn, Switzerland.

Dr. Wong is a Clinical Associate Professor in Paediatric Dentistry in The University of Hong Kong. Her research interest is dental development and oro-facial growth of children and adolescents. She is currently working on the identification of factors affecting the maturation of permanent teeth, and development and validation of dental age assessment methods for southern and northern Chinese population.

Dr. Carl KK Leung obtained his BDS and MSc in implant dentistry from HKU. He received his postgraduate training in forensic odontology, forensic medicine, forensic science and criminal justice from Melbourne, London and Hong Kong. He has been awarded with an Honorary Fellowship in Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians of England and the Founding Fellowship of Faculty of Oral Medicine and Pathology of Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. Currently he is an Honorary Professor in Forensic Science of Tung Wah College. He is a senate committee of the Chinese Forensic Medicine Association, President of the Hong Kong Forensic Science Society and also a member of the working group in Disaster Victim Identification of INTERPOL. Apart from his academic and professional duties, Dr Leung is also serving in different public sectors in Hong Kong. He is a director of the Hong Kong Tuberculosis, Chest and Heart Diseases Association and Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. He also serves as a member of Hospital Governing Committee of Grantham Hospital, HKTBA Aberdeen Chinese Medicine Clinic of Hospital Authority and as well as a director in a number of NGO dental clinics.
Prof. Lakshman Samaranayake DSc (Hons), FDSRCSE (Hons), DDS, BDS, FRCPath, FCDSHK, HKAM (Path), FHKAM (DSurg), MIBiol, FHKCPath
Professor Samaranayake is currently the Head of School of Dentistry, University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. He was the past Dean and Chair of Oral Microbiology at the Faculty of Dentistry, The University of Hong Kong. The author of over 400 research/review articles, Professor Samaranayake has written more than 30 book chapters and eight books some translated into five languages. He recently received the IADR Distinguished Scientist Award in Oral Medicine and Pathology, and the King James IV Professorship by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. Professor Samaranayake has lectured in all five continents, is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Investigative and Clinical Dentistry and, is a World Bank Consultant on problem based learning. He has also served as a Director of the FDI World Dental Federation, and the Chairman of its Science Commission.
Prof. Phrabhakaran Nambiar, BDS, BSc (Aus), MSc (Aus), MSD, FFOMP (Aus)
Professor Phrabhakaran Nambiar is the first dual trained Dentist specializing in both Oral Radiology and Forensic Dentistry in Malaysia. He has been pioneer in establishing Forensic Dentistry as a Specialty in south Asia. He was involved in several age estimation projects including the crash of Malaysian Airlines Fokker plane crash in 1994 and subsequently flight MH 17 crash in Ukraine in 2014. He has published over 100 research articles in peer reviewed journals and is currently Professor in Oral Radiology in Faculty of Dentistry, MAHSA University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
